LOCAL SOLAR POWER PROGRAMS Go Green, Go Solar!
Have you ever thought about installing solar power in your home? Have you worried about cost, or not known where to start? I want you to know about Solar Power Chicago, a solar power discount program available this summer to homeowners in the Chicago area, including suburban communities.
Solar Chicago is a partnership between the City of Chicago, the Environmental Law and Policy Center, Vote Solar, and the World Wildlife Fund. It helps homeowners “go solar, go green” by combining buying power with friends and neighbors, bringing down costs, providing rebates, and achieving community clean energy education and solar power installation. The more households that participate, the greater the cost savings and shared gains for the environment.
A volunteer committee from the community selected Juhl Renewable Energy Systems and Microgrid Solar as Solar Chicago's installation partner. To learn more about Solar Chicago, please visit www.mygroupenergy.com/solarchicago. With that first step, you will be connected with Juhl Energy/ Microgrid Solar to register, schedule a site evaluation and receive a proposal. Please note that registration does not obligate you to participate. It simply starts the process to get you the information you would need to make an informed decision. Homeowners have until October to sign a contract and lock in the savings offered by the Solar Chicago program.
