Area residents are invited to visit this Friday’s Addison Community Health Fair at the Addison Park District community center. The event is free and open to all ages.

State Sen. Don Harmon is co-hosting the event with state Rep. Kathleen Willis of Addison, the Addison Park District and other community partners.

Services offered: Free health screenings and disease prevention information; on-site drivers’ services from the Illinois secretary of state, including license and ID renewal; flu shots from Walgreens (insurance required, Medicare or cash payment accepted); and additional services from the Addison Fire Protection District, the Addison Park District, Elmhurst Hospital, Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan’s anti-fraud unit, Illinois Treasurer Michael Frerichs’ I-Cash program and more.
